Batch is building blazing fast, one-tap checkout for the physical world. We’re bringing the convenience of shopping online into the physical world, creating opportunities for discovery and genuine connection.

If you want to reorder your favorite skincare product, buy a candle that you saw at a friend's house, or shop an artist’s latest merchandise from your seat at a live event — we believe you should be able to do that instantly using your mobile device.

Our initial product is focused on high-intent purchases of CPG products. We let customers reorder from their favorite brands straight from the packaging, as well as powering other high-impact, immersive marketing experiences off of QR codes. In parallel, we're growing our business in the live event world, powering one-of-a-kind merchandising experiences for artists, venues, and festivals.

This role requires a relationship-driven sales leader who understands the full customer journey from lead to renewal, and can lead a team to execute at every stage in the funnel. You will be tasked with scaling our sales and success motions, sharing customer insights with the team, and helping Batch become ubiquitous.

  • Define customer lifecycle: Envision and communicate what success looks like for our customers, and how our marketing, sales, and customer success team members can bring that vision to life. Set objectives accordingly.

  • Own growth targets: Take ownership of our sales targets. Do everything humanly possible to pull in additional resources to hit goals when they are at risk. Renegotiates goals as early as it becomes clear they will be missed.

  • Keep teams organized: Make sure we aren't dropping the ball on any aspect of our pipeline. Provide the right level of abstracted updates to the rest of the business. Practically, can translate details into a CRM.

  • Customer empathy: Understand our customers' perspectives, and weight them effectively. Use this understanding to continually improve customer experience and give customers "a seat at the table" internally.

  • Marketing strategy: Develop a high level strategy around content partnerships, SEO, and other marketing efforts. Constantly evaluate what’s working and focus the team on marketing efforts that are driving meaningful new business.

  • Own contracts: Structure and negotiate contracts across new business deals, renewals, and upsells. Develop a point of view on what drives value for our customers. Help us develop a pricing strategy.

  • Hire and coach a team: Immediately hire a small sales team to rapidly scale our sales motion. Coach team members and jump in as needed to help them reach goals and allow for employees to take time off.


  • Several years of experience as a high-performing Account Executive, Inside Sales, and/or Customer Success Manager, preferably selling a SAAS or similar tool, where you closed new business deals and upsold to existing customers.

  • Hired and managed a team of direct reports, helping them grow in their specific functions and work cohesively as a team.

  • Ability to organize the funnel, identify where we are succeeding, and where we are at-risk for hitting goals.

  • Demonstrated ability to bring an initiative from concept to execution across functions (i.e., marketing and operations).

  • Clear communicator across all levels of stakeholders externally and internally.
