At CALA, we pair each client with a Brand Director who is responsible for the ultimate success of their client. The Brand Director helps define the client's vision––then taps into the CALA resource network to bring their vision to life. A Brand Director is responsible for being the primary point of contact, creative visionary, and strategy driver for their assigned brands. The Brand Director works to understand every CALA client's vision, and develops a plan to realize that vision and ensure success by utilizing the CALA platform and team resources. The Brand Director is assisted by the Brand Operations Manager, and is guided by the CALA Heads of Brands.

A Brand Director works to achieve this success by:

  • Working with Head of Brands to understand preliminary product and brand strategy
  • Holding meetings with customers to help better develop customer's vision
  • Applying expert knowledge to establish a clear direction for a brand that matches the client's vision
  • Utilizing CALA resources to execute the clent's vision. This includes, but isn't limited to:

    • Working with Ghost Designers to develop a line plan that synthesizes a customer's brand vision and financial approval
    • Developing E-Commerce briefs and ensuring that web development is completed according to the briefs
    • Working with operations/production and ensuring timely and accurate sample approval
  • Ensuring clear and consistent communication with customers along each step of the CALA process.
