Your Mission

Help grow DREAMSTAGE into the premier live-streaming concert platform. Provide millions of customers with performant, engaging, and thrilling live performances by artists both independent and world-renowned. You’ll do this by finding solutions to difficult problems, collaborating closely with teammates, and iterating quickly. You’ll balance business imperatives alongside diligent execution to drive revenue growth for the company. You’ll excel in interpersonal communication, prioritization, and the ability to distinguish urgency from importance.

How You’ll Do It

  • Understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements

  • Plan and implement projects from start to finish using Rust, JavaScript, TypeScript, and GraphQL

  • Build maintainable, consistent, and well documented APIs  

  • Communicate frequently with product, design, and business stakeholders

  • Disengage autopilot and critique and appraise your own work and that of your team

Your Skills

  • Great proficiency in typed languages preferably Rust or Typescript

  • Experience with core AWS services and containerization

  • Familiarity designing and interacting with RESTful and GraphQL APIs

  • Knowledge of modern authorization mechanisms, such as JSON Web Token

  • Experience with Relational Databases

  • Proficiency understanding business requirements and translating them into technical requirements

  • A knack for benchmarking, optimization, and debugging APIs

  • Ability to mentor junior team members, exemplify best practices, and support others

  • Deep familiarity with code versioning, particularly Git

  • Proficiency solving highly technical or nuanced problems

  • Comfort with uncertainty and confidence to accept change

  • Ability to design and document integrations with 3rd party vendors

  • Familiarity with Infrastructure as code like CDK, Terraform, SAM, etc

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Math or related field preferred. Bachelor’s Degree in another field (or equivalent experience) required.

  • Experience with E-Commerce APIs preferred but not required.
