Role: Supply Chain Analyst

At Kiwibot we are building the largest robotic last-mile delivery network to support operations in several environments from college campuses to cities across the US and Europe. Our Hardware and Manufacture team, is searching for a professional to supervise the components of our company’s logistics system and make sure that our supply chain is efficient and productive by assessing our processes and inventory, while reducing costs and securing high-quality materials for the company.

As a Supply Chain Analyst you report to our Head of Hardware and Manufacture, you’ll have to analyze and take any steps necessary to improve the overall productivity of the supply chain, come up with strategies, use data to support your recommendations for optimizing the methods within the company in terms of production, supplies, and transportation.

Location: Medellín, Colombia

As a Supply Chain Analyst a typical day might include the following: 

  • Communicate with other departments within and outside of the organization to identify efficiency issues, develop solutions, and implement changes

  • Gather data on each step within the supply chain, using it to recommend changes to reduce costs

  • Coordinate with shipping company

  • Quote out of stock components

  • Organize Gannt charts

  • Monitor and collect data on current operations, including scheduling, sourcing, warehousing, production, and delivery

  • Analyze data to determine areas for performance improvement

  • Investigate pain points within the process and develop solutions to resolve conflicts and inefficiencies

This job might be the right one for you if:

  • Have quantitative analysis expertise and supply chain experience

  • Have a bachelor’s degree in business management, operations, logistics, or a similar field

  • Analytical background: you can mold and understand data to drive action and results

  • You’re result driven with an obsession with details

  • Excellent communication skills: experience working closely and communicating effectively with a diverse set of stakeholders in an ever-changing, rapid growth environment

  • Experience with customs or free trade zones

  • Fluent English speaker

You might have also had:

  • Spanish language skills (we are a Latin America start-up!)

  • Knowledge of electronics, electric engineering, or other similar technical fields

  • Experience starting or scaling a successful startup

  • Demonstrated interest in logistics, on-demand services, and marketplaces
