Position Level: Manager

Hours: 10 per week. Potential to move to 20+ in next 6 months

Pay: $50 USD per hour

Location: Remote


At The Adventure Project, we believe communication is crucial to sharing our mission, and we love a good story. The Graphic Designer will be responsible for ensuring all our communications are fully branded, beautiful, and enticing. In addition, you’ll be responsible for creating templates that efficiently allow our team to stay on brand visually. You’ll assist our team with digital campaigns and events. While our digital team works to inspire grassroots giving, you will be creating the design that sells that story. 

This position reports to our co-founder and CEO, Becky Straw, but you will be working closely with Tesi and Nicole to bring their digital strategy to life.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Design email templates for impact reports, monthly giving, thank you emails, and our welcome series; 

  • Design campaigns with a cohesive identity and bring those assets across social, emails, and print (1 campaign per quarter, 2 during the holiday season). 

  • Design special social media posts in the correct dimensions (1-2 posts per week, distributed across multiple platforms); 

  • Design impact reports and pitch decks; 

  • Assist with web design on our site (we use Webflow);

  • Design branding guidelines and ensure a consistent brand feel. 


Key Skills, Abilities, and Experience:

  • Skilled in Adobe software, Canva, and social media specifications. 

  • You know how to prep print items for press. 

  • Passion for ending extreme poverty through job creation. You have a keen understanding of international, sustainable development. 

  • You believe in the future of The Adventure Project. The success of this role is critical to The Adventure Project’s growth.

  • Experience. Your portfolio shows us that you can use your creativity to tell a beautiful story. 

  • You understand that sometimes a great photo speaks for itself. 

  • Bonus points if you have some coding experience and feel comfortable uploading assets and layouts on our site, using Webflow.
